MedTech Innovation House
A key element of MedTech Odense is the desire to establish a future MedTech Innovation House – an international powerhouse physically located between the University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital.
At the MedTech Innovation House, research, clinical practice and businesses will come together to develop new health technologies and solutions that make a difference for patients and the healthcare system – both in Denmark and internationally.
The new MedTech Innovation House will have a unique geographical location within the strong robotics, automation and AI ecosystem on Funen and in Odense – the hub of one of Europe’s leading robotics clusters and growth success stories, home to Denmark’s national robot and drone cluster and soon also the National Centre for Health Innovation.
A powerhouse for innovation and business collaboration
In the MedTech Innovation House, businesses play a key role in working closely with researchers and clinicians to take research results from idea to market and develop, test and deploy new technologies faster and more efficiently. It is also very much about creating growth opportunities for companies at all levels, from small spin-offs from local environments to large, established players that can pave the way for new export adventures.
